It's nice to see a few names here who were here when I was active -- many years ago, now.

I have used meditation, Heinz Kohut's ideas, processed the horrible feelings that were evoked when my "last therapist" terminated me 8 years ago. Some of you may remember how active I was venting and processing stuff here for a year or more after that termination. That was very helpful. Also, I have had a weekly support group with two other people throughout this period. That has been critical to my progress.

I am doing OK -- old but OK.

I think my story -- and even the Kohut theoies I used to help me conceptually -- might be helpful to other people? If so, I would like to share it. But -- would anybody potentially be interested? I don't want to try to put it "out here", if nobody is.

Thanks for the replies. I'll try to write out a concise summary and post it in the next few days.
